It is good to watch videos on the big screen of the handset. It is TUV Rheinland certified and thus reduces blue light emissions. Performance
Realme C25 is equipped with MediaTek Helio G70 processor. The smartphone offers 4GB of RAM and comes in two storage capacities- 64GB and 128GB. Storage can be increased with the help of microSD card.
The phone can be used for light to moderate gaming. There was no major drawback in its performance. Don’t expect heavy performance but it is capable of doing daily chores without any hassle.
Apps take a significant amount of time to load. Switching between apps is easy, but again time consuming. Multitasking is also not easy. However, despite being a budget phone, there was no heating issue on the Realme C25.
The phone comes with Realme UI 2.0 based on Android 11 operating system. The handset’s UI is easy to navigate. There are some pre-installed apps which a user can uninstall if they wish. Camera
The Realme C25 has a triple camera setup at the back. The smartphone sports a 13MP primary lens with an aperture of f/1.8, a 2MP monochrome lens, and a 2MP macro lens for close-up shots. On the front side, the phone has an 8MP sensor with f/2.0 aperture.
If you have used Realme phone before, then you will find it easy to use the phone’s camera app. The UI of the app is clean. Features like Night, Portrait, HDR and others are handy and can be easily toggled on. The app itself has quick access to the camera settings. Users can choose from the Settings menu, including location tagging, watermark, AI screen recognition, and many more.
The shutter speed is fast which means it freezes the scene quickly. The pictures clicked in daylight have enough detail. In some cases, the pictures were oversaturated, not quite what Jani looks like in real life.
Portrait camera works well. However, there is a lack of detail in portrait shots. Macro sensor is fine and not that good. Since this is a budget phone and can disappoint the camera lovers.
Coming to the video shooting capabilities, the Realme C25 can record up to 1080p 30fps using both the front and rear cameras.
As far as selfies are concerned, they look sharp and colour-rich. Portraits using the front camera turn out better than the rear camera with good edge detection.
Battery
Phone packs a massive 6,000mAh battery. It is paired with an 18-watt fast charger and a USB Type-C cable out of the box. The USB Type-C support is appreciated,
Talking about the performance, it takes about three hours for the phone to be charged up to 100%. it is a long time. Once fully charged, it can easily last for one and a half days for any average user. If you cut down on social media and internet scrolling time, the phone’s battery life can also be extended up to 2 days.
My opinion
The budget prize category is filled with many options. However, there are very few that offer a complete package. And the Realme C25 is definitely some of them. Long battery life, a big display and a processor that takes care of everyday tasks without any complaints. These are some of the features that make the Realme C25 a desirable phone. Adequate camera performance is another positive thing about the smartphone. If you still want to explore more good options in this price segment – Poco M3 and Moto G10 Power can be considered.
