Motorola introduces another low priced smartphone Moto E40

Motorola has introduced a new entry level smartphone Moto E40.

According to the company, this low-cost smartphone is for consumers from all walks of life. The powerful main camera, depth and macro camera will attract people from low income people.  Most of entry level smartphones comes with 13MP cameras. Motorola has given 48MP, which will definitely attract buyers. 

The phone has a 6.5 inch IPS LCD display with 90 Hz refresh rate support. The resolution of the screen is 720×1600 pixels. It means it will offer you HD+ resolution. 

Inside the Moto E40 is a UnisoCT700 processor with a fingerprint scanner mounted on the back. This is basically an entry level octa core SoC. It features two fast ARM cores and six power efficient cores. This is manufactured at TSMC in 12nm FinFET.

Motorola has used a mid-range graphics card for ARM based SoCs. The good thing is that this GPU supports all modern graphics APIs. The core speed is 950MHz. The maker of this chip says it offer good performance and energy efficient. 

The phone is equipped with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage which can be further expanded with a microSD card.

 The Android 11 operating system is integrated with the company’s MyUX user interface.

A special feature of the phone is the large 5000 mAh battery and according to the company, the users have been able to use this phone for 2 days using it in moderation.

The Moto E40 has a setup of 3 cameras on the back.

The phone has a 48-megapixel main camera with a 2-megapixel macro and a 2-megapixel depth sensor camera.

Motorola has introduced the phone, but so far nothing has been said about its price and availability.
