Oppo has introduced another A-Series mid-range 5G phone in China.

The A56 5G was quietly launched by the company in China. It  is very similar to the A55.

The only difference is that this new phone has less camera on the back.

The Oppo A56 5G has a 6.5-inch HD Plus LCD display with a resolution of 720×1600 pixels. The screen has a pixel density of 269 pixels. It is an average screen display. The smartphone features  an 8-megapixel camera hidden in the water drop notch.

The company has used  MediaTek’s Dimensity 700 5G processor. The Octa-core CPU setup is very impressive. Oppo A56 CPU has two powerful cores which can run at a speed of 2.2GHz and 2.0GHz. This will to run your videos and video chatting smoothly.

The Dimensity 700 5G was the first mainstream 5G chip. It is a low cost chipset. The modem’s feature inside the chip further enhanced by 5 UltraSave. This technology  use the power of the smartphone efficiently.

The company has used ARM Mali-G57 graphic card. It was introduced in mid 2021. This GPU has been used in a number of popular devises.

The A56 has 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage which can be further expanded with a microSD card.

The device comes with a 5000 mAh battery with 10 watts fast charging support. I think 10W charging is not enough considering the battery size.

The Android 11 operating system is integrated with Color OS 11.1, while the fingerprint sensor is on the side.

The A56 has a dual camera setup on the back. It comes with a 13-megapixel main camera and a 2-megapixel depth data camera.

As mentioned above, this phone has been introduced in China but so far nothing has been said about its availability in other countries.

Oppo A56 is available in three colors- Cloud Smoke Blue, Soft Fog Black and Wind Chime Purple.

The phone is priced at 1,599 yuan (over 43,000 Pakistani rupees). Pakistanis are stilling using the 4G network. The question is: Will people spend their money on 5G smartphones in Pakistan and India?

In my opinion, smartphone users should go for 4G smartphones which they can buy at affordable prices.
