A beta phase for the new mobile operating system from Samsung called One UI 4, which is based on Android 12, started in the summer. This beta phase is now over, so Samsung was able to fine-tune it. Now Computer Base reports on that Samsung has started distributing One UI 4. It starts with the current top series, i.e. the Galaxy S21 smartphones. Samsung will also offer numerous other smartphones and tablets with One UI 4 for users who accept the upgrade offer and want to install the new operating system. If you have overlooked the information about an upcoming update or the information does not appear automatically, you can also check the software updates manually in the system options. The smartphones of the Galaxy S10 series are also included, but there are also some A models that will receive the update. Just like with Android 12, one of the new features should be better customization, which with One UI 4 also includes color palettes and designs of things like menus, icons and so on. There are also improvements in the widgets that should simplify customization. For privacy, there is more overview to see more quickly which apps can access certain settings. There is also new software for some older Galaxy Smartwatches, because Samsung is also distributing updates to the Tizen operating system for these smart watches.
