At the beginning of October 2021, Android 12 came to the market. Many manufacturers are currently busy testing the new version. Samsung has so far only for Android 12 in the final version for Mobile phones of the Galaxy S21 series distributed. As it turns out, at least the beta phase for the smartphones is Galaxy S10 and Note 10. So interested owners can test Android 12 from now on.
The optional participation in the beta test runs over the Samsung-members-app after registration, the non-final version of Android 12 can be downloaded together with Samsung One UI 4.0. As always, it is recommended to create a backup before. software errors are expected.
The beta update stands for the mobile phones Galaxy S10, S10 5G, S10e and S10 Plus but not for the S10 Lite (source: Samsung via GSMArenaAndroid 12 can also be tested on the Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10 Plus. Also on the latest mobile phones in the Z series, a beta update is available. Samsung wants to final updates on Android 12 until August 2022 at the latest. Most recently, the most favourable mobile phones in the A series are on the line.
