OnePlus has gained reputation as company that makes smartphones using flagship components and offers them at affordable prices.
Phones have become more and more expensive as time passed, but OnePlus is likely to be returning to its roots with a new series.
A news report say that OnePlus is working on a new line of smartphones that will focus on performance and games. It is aid that this series is likely to cost between 2,000 and 3,000 yuan
The report also said that this series will have a flagship processor and a flat, non-curved screen. The flagship components, of course, do not mean that Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 will appear there.
It is assumed that we can see processors such as Mediatek Dimensity 9000 and older ones: Snapdragon 888, 870 or Dimensity 1200. Nevertheless, it would be an improvement over other models available on the market in this price.
Another leak report has revealed that OnePlus will launch a successor to Nord CE in India next month.
Nord CE will comes with three cameras on the back, successively 64 Mpx, 8 Mpx and 2 Mpx. On the front there would be a 16 Mpx camera and an AMOLED screen with a 6.4-inch display. Moreover, it can be powered by the Mediatek Dimensity 900 system.
The Nord N20 is to be delivered to the European market in February 2022. It is to have the aforementioned flat screen and 3 cameras. OnePlus together with Oppo are developing a new operating system for their devices. This phone can run on Android 12, while a unified operating system could appear in April this year. There are no details about the release of this series, although the information partially overlaps. However, we hope that it will hit the market soon if it is to be a cheap alternative to other similar models.
