Sony has made a great effort to develop true wireless headphones. The company has developed a great product in the form WF-L900 LinkBuds.
The Sony LinkBuds (WF-L900) is very different from other products in the market. Unlike other products Sony used an open design. It means it has not used foam or silicone tip. This ear piece perfectly fits inside the ear. Sony says this design creates the perfect listening experience for every situation. – including sound AR navigation. It is a big promise from Sony.
Sony has used a ring-shaped driver unit that has an opening in the middle of the membrane. The opening delivers music as well as the sound from the surrounding.
The rest of the technology, including the battery, is in the second part of the case. There is no classic plug that you put in your ear. The in-ears are held in place by the shape of the ears.
Sony says this should work very well and ensure that you can wear the headphones all day without being disturbed.
The weight of the LinkBuds is only 4 grams. It means a user can wear for long time. He can wear it during sport activities too. The good thing is that buds are protected against sweat and water as they are designed to be waterproof.
The hole in the middle ensures that you don’t shut yourself off, but can, for example, talk to colleagues in the office at any time.
This made possible because of the “Speak-to-Chat” function”. The headphones automatically recognize that a conversation is starting and pause the music accordingly. When the call is over, the music starts again.
In addition, an adaptive volume control should ensure that the headphones automatically adjust the volume of the music depending on the environment, so that the user does not have to adjust it himself.
On the other hand, when making phone calls, the LinkBuds should be able to distinguish between voices and ambient noise, so that you can still have a conversation without any problems even if the environment is a bit louder.
