Xiaomi presented the Redmi K50 Gaming Edition in China, so we have to wait for its global premiere. And as was the case with the gaming variant Redmi K40, we will be dealing with a name change again, this time to POCO F4 GT.

The Redmi K50 Gaming Edition has sold out like hot cakes, because it cannot be described otherwise. After its premiere in China, 70,000 copies of this smartphone were sold in the first flash sale, generating a revenue of $ 54 million. It can be expected that the smartphone outside China will earn even more, although we will have to look for it on the shelves under a changed name. This, however, should not surprise anyone, the same thing happened with the Redmi K40 Gaming Edition.
The Redmi K50 Gaming Edition will debut on the global market as the POCO F4 GT
Confirmation of this was found in the Mi code by the Xiaomiui service . According to their findings, in India, and then all over the world, the new gaming Redmi K50 will be known as POCO F4 GT. Taking into account the words of the head of POCO India, according to which the successor of the F3 GT will cost less than 50,000 rupees , it may turn out that the new POCO will be the cheapest smartphone powered by via SoC Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 in the world. These are, of course, only assumptions that will be confirmed during the official premiere. Its date is not known to us yet, although we expect it to happen soon. We also do not know if the device will eventually come to Poland as well.
It is worth waiting for the Redmi K50 Gaming Edition / POCO F4 GT, because Xiaomi has equipped this model really well. This is not surprising, because it was created mainly for mobile players. the latest processor from Qualcomm is supported by 8 or 12 GB of LPPDDR5 RAM and 128 or 256 GB of memory for UFS 3.1 data. The battery has a capacity of 4700 mAh, but supports record-fast charging with a power of 120W.
The OLED screen has a diagonal of 6.67 inches, Full HD + resolution and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. It is protected against scratches and damage by Gorilla Glass Victus. As we could have expected, in terms of photography, the Redmi K50 GE does not impress us, because the triple configuration consists of the main sensor 64 Mpix (Sony IMX686, f / 1.65), wide-angle 8 Mpix (119 °, f / 2.2) and 2 Mpix telemacro .
