Realme Pad Mini as if it were official: all the specifications and launch hypotheses

Realme is ready to double the offer on tablets. It is not news of the last hour, Realme Pad Mini has been talked about for weeks now. But the interesting news that emerges from reading the rumors concerns the presentation, which would be imminent. To tell the truth, talking about rumors is improper , because the numerous information we can offer you today on Realme’s “small” tablet does not come from an informer or from a rumor that runs around the web.

They come from a Filipino retailer operating on the Lazada online store, which has already loaded the tablet detailing the ad with a large number of technical specifications and several product images. In short, it is difficult to talk about indiscretions , because it is the classic completeness that characterizes the pages of already official products. It is possible that the retailer received preview information on the Chinese tablet and published it ahead of time, so, if in doubt, better take today’s details as unofficial.

Realme Pad Mini seems an interesting product, with a relatively large screen and specifications that are all in all adequate for a product that must necessarily cost less than its older brother Realme Pad , which in Italy at launch was offered at 239 euros . Some perplexity comes from the chip, a Unisoc T616 that will have to prove in the field that it can withstand the standards of the competition.

Realme Pad Mini should support its older brother also in Europe , according to what has been made known by rumors in recent weeks . Unfortunately, despite the complete information on the product page on Lazada, we have no information on the price: Pad Mini is priced at 99,990 Philippine pesos, over 1,700 euros at the current exchange rate. A figure, needless to say, of pure fantasy, so we will probably have to wait for the presentation to make an estimate of the possible European price.

We won’t have to wait long, because it seems that Realme Pad Mini will be presented in the Philippines on Monday 4th April . For the eventual European launch we will have to wait a few months, as happened with the older brother.

It receives these messages through host adapters, including a WebSphere MQ host adapter, which enables business applications running on a variety of different types of computing platforms to pass messages through SWIFTNet.

Worried about unhealthy fat inside your belly?

This happens because of your common mistake.

If you are worried by constant weight gain or bulging belly, it may be due to your depravation of sleep.

Mayo Clinic research has shown that lack of sleep increases the amount of fat around the abdomen and waist by 9%, while visceral fat increases by 11%.

Visceral fat is the medical term for fat that accumulates in the liver and other organs of the abdomen, and can even accumulate in lean people, increasing the risk of medical problems.

Sleep deprivation is often a person’s own choice, and this trend has become quite common in modern times, with only one-third of adults in the United States not being able to get enough sleep.

Research has shown that people with sleep deprivation develop a craving for more food and the body begins to store the extra energy from food in the form of fat.

The researchers said that the results show that the shorter the duration of sleep, even if you are young, healthy and lean but take in more calories. You can increase your weight and accumulation fat inside the belly

They were alarmed to find that accumulated fat inside the skin fat moves to more dangerous areas.

The key discovery is that later extra sleep reduces calorie intake and weight loss, but also increases the accumulation of fat.

Researchers said that they did not know in the past that sleep deprivation triggers a mechanism of fat storage.

They found that Inadequate sleep on a long-term basis can lead to obesity, coronary heart disease and metabolic disorders

The study included 12 healthy individuals with moderate body weight and was divided into 2 groups and twice part of 21-day sessions.

The first time they were allowed to sleep for a normal duration while the second time the duration of sleep was reduced, with an interval of 3 months between each session.

During this time each group was given free access to food, while their body weight and other scales were also examined after which the above results came out.

The findings were published in the medical journal Journal of the American College of Cardiology.

Earlier in September 2021, a study analyzing data from nearly 20,000 people found that sleep deprived people burn more calories than they need from food throughout the day.

Research has also shown that most people consume soft drinks and foods at night, ie stay up late and adopt behaviors that lead to obesity, such as being less physically active, more in front of the screen. Spending time, eating light things, etc.

Researchers said that now they know that sleep deprivation is linked to obesity, but they are not clear why this happens.

The results of the study were published in the medical journal of the Academy of Nutrition.

Earlier, in September 2019, a study conducted by Pennsylvania State University in the United States also revealed that a major cause of sleep deprivation can be in the form of obesity.

Research has shown that people with sleep deprivation develop a craving for more food and the body begins to store the extra energy from food in the form of fat.

According to researchers, in the past hard times it was a good mechanism for the body to store energy for difficult situations, but in today’s developed world it is not good because now people are mostly sitting while high calorie foods without any Available at low labor costs.

Imran Khan loses majority in the parliament due the betrayal of MQM(Pakistan)

The United Opposition gave a big surprise to the government before the no-confidence motion, the main coalition party MQM (Pakistan) also left the government

The United Opposition and the MQM have signed an agreement.

The MQM has decided to support the no-confidence motion. Why MQM has left the government and joined the parties like PPP and PMLN which has always oppressed MQM in the past and never fulfilled their agreements made in different occasions.

Now Imran Khan has only 164 members on his side and the united opposition has managed to get the support of 177 national assembly members.

New reports say that Opposition leaders arrived at Parliament Lodges last night and met with MQM leaders.

According to opposition sources, MQM will support the opposition in the no-confidence motion. Maulana Fazlur Rehman has also confirmed that the opposition has reached an agreement with the MQM, which will be formally announced today.

Late last night, ruling party leaders Pervez Khattak and Shah Mehmood Qureshi also telephoned the MQM leadership.

According to the reports, a number of issues were settled between the MQM and the opposition on Tuesday night, after which the MQM assured the united opposition of its support in the no-confidence motion.

According to sources, the MQM has been assured that the amendment in the local body laws will be withdrawn and an MQM administrator will be appointed in Karachi and Hyderabad by Friday before the no-confidence vote. A dozen offices will be opened in Hyderabad.

MQM Pakistan leaders should know that neither PPP and nor PMLN honored any agreements made in the past. How can they trust them?

PPP has totally ignored MQM and Karachi. If MQM leaders think PPP will hold local bodies elections and allow them to have their administrator and develop their constituencies they are sadly mistaken.

Meanwhile, the government will also withdraw false political cases against MQM workers in two to three days with the formation of a new government.

Xiaomi 12 Pro: premium in everything

Xiaomi has recently presented its top of the range Xiaomi 12 Pro. It has all the credentials to become a premium smartphone. It has proved to be a good product. This product has great improvements compared to previous ones.

The company has launched three new devices Xiaomi 12, 12X, and 12 Pro.

DESIGN AND PACKAGING

Xiaomi 12 Pro not only looks at power, but particularly relies on a renewed design compared to the last generation. The back cover is in frosted glass, Gorilla Glass Victus, very pleasant to the touch and above all useful in not showing marks and fingerprints, while the continuous frame is in aluminum. The camera module changes its look and is renewed with a more elegant design . The island that houses the three cams and the LED flash remains protruding but becomes rectangular in shape with a large main sensor at the top (which protrudes slightly in turn) and two smaller sensors below on the left side. The Xiaomi 5G writing is also engraved on the back cover.

The front is dominated by a large curved display on the sides with thin bezels. The slightly rounded and thicker corners still remain as seen in the last generation, not exactly the best on the eye. In the upper part, in the center of the display, we find a small hole that houses the selfie cam. The frame houses on the right side the volume rocker and the on and off button while the left side remains completely uncluttered. In the lower part we find the SIM slot, the first microphone, the USB type-C port and the system speaker. Finally, at the top the frame houses a second speaker, the second microphone and the infrared port, always useful for controlling TVs, air conditioners and other appliances.

The dimensions of the smartphone are the following: 163.6 x 74.6 x 8.16 mm while the weight reaches 205 grams . The device in hand, thanks to the curved edges, seems even thinner than it already is. The touch and feel is good although the dimensions are not exactly compact. The feeling is that of having a premium product in your hands, with a high-level build quality, studied in detail.

Inside the package, in addition to the smartphone, we find a very fast 120W power supply , the USB-USB Type-C cable and a transparent silicone cover. The supplied charger is rather bulky and heavy to carry around, on the other hand it can charge the smartphone in a very short time.

DISPLAY

Xiaomi 12 Pro features a 6.73 – inch HDR10 + super AMOLED LTPO 2.0 display with WQHD + resolution (1440×3200 pixels) and a pixel density of 521 ppi. The refresh rate reaches 120Hz while the touch refresh rate reaches 480Hz.

In the settings it is possible to set the refresh rate in two different ways:

Automatic : Adjusts the refresh rate dynamically based on scenarios to balance performance and power consumption. In detail, what is also called “adaptive”.

Custom : Here, the user chooses which refresh rate to use between 60Hz, 90Hz and 120Hz. The brand recommends using the automatic mode, but no one forbids keeping the display fixed at 120Hz.

In the Color Scheme of the Settings screen, you can choose between different calibrations, all of which can be customized. There are three main profiles:

Vivid : mode that sets a profile faithful to the DCI-P3 standard, with a cold white balance by default, but configurable by the user.

Intense : mode that sets a profile with extreme maximum saturations, pushing the actual limits of the panel. It is not as faithful as Vivido, but aims to guarantee an immediate wow effect.

Original color : mode that sets a different color profile based on the content being played, choosing between DCI-P3 and sRGB, with a fairly faithful white balance according to the D65 standard.

In addition to the basic presets, the company allows the user to access various  advanced settings , which enable the possibility to choose between the original color range of the content being played (a bit like Original Color), or to lock the gamut to P3  or  sRGB references  . The difference with the main profiles lies in the possibility to  finely configure every aspect of the chromatic reproduction, for example with the three RGB sliders of the primary components, or by acting individually on values such as Hue, Saturation, Gamma and Contrast. The smartphone is already very valid with the factory calibration, however the user can configure the chromatic aspect of the device as he sees fit, based on his own precision needs.

Display Analysis

We carried out the measurements at the colorimeter of the Xiaomi 12 Pro display and we generally found excellent values in terms of accuracy. Let’s start with the maximum luminance: in the default mode, Vivid, we measured  1344 nits  with an unmeasurable contrast ratio due to the AMOLED display present. This is a very high value even considering that it is a top of the range, the best ever recorded in our laboratory if we exclude the top of the latest generation Samsung range. It goes without saying that with these values Xiaomi 12 Pro can be used anywhere, without any compromise.

Playback of SDR content is of extremely high quality on the Xiaomi 12 Pro, with a chromatic fidelity (in the most precise mode, Original Color) quantifiable in an average DeltaE equal to 1.9 taking as reference the colors of the Macbeth Color Checker. This is a result that allows you to compare the smartphone panel to a semi-professional monitor, so even photo and video processing can be done without too much trouble on this smartphone. The excellent result was achieved thanks to a gamut faithful to the P3 reference, a good white point calibration and a gamma curve corrected according to the reference (2.2). We also carried out our analyzes on the measurements made with the Intense mode, the most extensive in terms of maximum saturation: in this case we have a wider gamut than the DCI-P3 standard and a gamma curve

The habit of drinking coffee is good for heart health

The habit of drinking coffee is beneficial for improving heart health.

This was revealed in a medical study conducted in Australia.

Research from the University of Melbourne and Monash University found that drinking 2 to 3 cups of coffee a day reduced the risk of premature death for any cause, including heart disease, heart failure or coronary heart disease, by 15%.

These are basically the results of 3 research reports for which the researchers used the data of UK Biobank.

The data surveyed the health of more than 500,000 people for at least 10 years.

The amount of coffee they drank was also known when they joined the study.

New research now examines the relationship between coffee drinking and the risk of increasing or decreasing the risk of various heart diseases.

The first study focused on more than 382,000 people who did not have heart disease and whose average age was 57 years.

The results showed that people who are accustomed to drinking 2 to 3 cups of coffee a day have a lower risk of developing heart disease later in life.

According to researchers, people who drink just one cup of coffee a day have a lower risk of stroke or coronary heart disease.

Another study looked at the health effects of different types of coffee.

Research has shown that drinking 2 to 3 cups of any type of coffee a day reduces the risk of heart disease.

The third study included people who had already suffered from irregular heartbeat or other heart disease.

The results of this study found that coffee consumption does not increase the risk of irregular heartbeat, but that such patients drink a cup of coffee a day reduces the risk of premature ejaculation.

The results of the three research reports will be presented during the 71st Scientific Session of the American College of Cardiology in early April.
