“Alex, I want to talk to the doctor.” This simple phrase adds a whole new level of usefulness to Amazon’s virtual assistant through a partnership with Teledoc. When you say Alexa, you will be connected to the Teledoc call center. From there, Teledoc will call you back for a virtual visit right on your Amazon Echo device. Of course, you can always go to a Teledoc application or website and get the same feature, which means you don’t have to own an Alexa-based device.
Using Teledoc via Alexa will not cost you anything extra, so the price will depend on your insurance.
