Samsung has officially confirmed the removal of the Galaxy Note brand.
This was confirmed by Ro Tai Moon, head of Samsung’s mobile phone division, at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.
He told reporters that the Galaxy Note will now come as Ultra, referring to the recently introduced Galaxy S22 Ultra.
By the way, this news is not surprising as Samsung has not introduced the Galaxy Note model since 2020.
Now the Galaxy S22 Ultra has stylus support just like any note device.
It has everything that a Galaxy Note can have, just the name Galaxy S22 Ultra.
The first Galaxy Note phone was introduced in 2011 with a 5.3-inch display that looks small today but was the largest at the time with the introduction of new technology in the form of Stylus or S Pen. Was done
The main reason for ending the Note series is foldable phones and this decision is understandable.
In 2019, 12.7 million units of the Galaxy Note 10 were sold, while in 2020, 9.7 million models of the Galaxy Note 20 were sold.
