The Apple A16 Bionic chip will be exclusive to iPhone 14 Pro models

If the word of the well-known and respected Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo is to be believed, the iPhone 14 series will appear with the Apple A16 Bionic chip, but not all models will be equipped with the same. Only Pro models (iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max) will be equipped with the new Apple A16 Bionic chip.

Those who opt for the iPhone 14 or iPhone 14 Max will have to settle for the old Apple A15 Bionic chip. Ming-Chi Kuo doesn’t stop there, but claims that all four iPhone 14 models will come with 6 GB of RAM. That’s a good thing, but what many won’t like is that the Pro models will get the latest LPDDR5 memory, while the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Max will get LPDDR4X memory.

Of course, the differences will also be reflected in the size of the screen, cameras and battery.

Whether Apple is really planning to decide on such a marketing move or it’s just a lack of chips remains to be seen. But as the launch date approaches, there will certainly be more and more information.
