It has been decided to appoint Tauqeer Shah as Principal Secretary to the newly elected Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif.
Tauqeer Shah has also been Shahbaz Sharif’s principal secretary in Punjab. He will retire in December. Tauqeer Shah is one of the close associates of Shahbaz Shari
Sources said that consultations are underway regarding the transfer of secretaries of federal ministries. Former Principal Secretary Fawad Hassan Fawad is also playing an important role in the appointments.
Shahbaz Sharif has also been provided security by the Prime Minister. When Shahbaz Sharif reached the Prime Minister’s Chamber after the National Assembly session, he was welcomed by the Military Secretary and PM staff.
