It’s rare that we wait for a Xiaomi smartphone and hope it hits the market quickly. It’s different with the Xiaomi 12 Lite, because the cell phone should have been presented a long time ago and act as an alternative to the Samsung Galaxy A53. Now at least the technical data has leaked and it sounds promising.
Xiaomi 12 Lite specs leaked
Samsung has already launched the Galaxy A53 and there is hardly any competition to be feared from Xiaomi. The Xiaomi 12 Lite is still a long time coming. Only the Xiaomi 12, 12X and 12 Pro have been presented so far , but no cheaper variant with the premium design. Xiaomi offers countless Redmi smartphones, but many prefer the design of the Xiaomi 12, which is also really well done. While we still don’t know when the Xiaomi 12 Lite will be released, the specs have now been leaked:
With the 6.55-inch display, the Xiaomi 12 Lite places itself between the Xiaomi 12 and 12 Pro. There is the well-known mid-range processor that we already know from the NE version of the Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G. So you shouldn’t hope for better performance here. The battery is noticeably larger at 4,500 mAh and can be charged extremely quickly at 67 watts . Samsung installs a 5,000 mAh battery in the Galaxy A53, but it can be charged with a maximum of 25 watts. It will be interesting to see if Xiaomi will include a power adapter. Samsung lacks that. Otherwise there are no surprises in terms of equipment.
Xiaomi 12 Lite expected with dual-edge display
The Xiaomi 12 Lite is said to be equipped with a dual-edge display . That would be a great feature in the price range in which the smartphone will be moving. As a result, the cell phone should be significantly more compact than that of Samsung. It probably won’t be waterproof. This is now standard on the Galaxy A53. So it will be an exciting head-to-head race between the two models.
