Air pollution is also responsible for the death of unborn children.

Long-term research conducted in 137 nations, including Pakistan and India, has revealed that air pollution is a leading cause of death in the womb, including the death of unborn children. According to research, air pollution kills one million infants worldwide each year, either in the womb or shortly after birth.

Researchers looked at the link between air pollution and the death of children in 137 countries and published their findings in the journal Nature Communications.

Asia, Africa, and the Americas were included in the research because they have high levels of air pollution and are either low- or middle-income countries.

According to experts, half of the 1 million children who die each year due to air pollution do so as a result of the harmful particles produced by fossil fuel pollution.

Half of the children who die from air pollution are exposed to very small particles in the lungs, brain, and other organs, according to the report.

In countries with high levels of air pollution, pregnant women should not leave their homes, and air filters should be installed in all residences, as suggested by the experts.

Air pollution has also been identified as a cause of complications in pregnant women, as well as a cause of male and female infertility, according to previous research.

In past investigations, it has also been revealed that due to air pollution, plastic and pollution particles have been found in the organs of babies in the wombs of pregnant women.

Pakistan is one of the countries in the world with the highest levels of air pollution, and Karachi, Lahore, and Rawalpindi are among the world’s most polluted cities.
