The administration of Gomal University in Dera Ismail Khan area of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province has banned the gatherings of students and students.

According to a report published in The Dawn newspaper, a notification has been issued by the university.

According to the notification, the university has also banned political or non-political gatherings due to security concerns.

"The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government and the local administration of Dera Ismail Khan have banned all political and non-political gatherings with immediate effect in view of the prevailing security concerns and overall law and order situation," the notification said.

Speaking to Dawn, Gomal University Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Shakib Ullah confirmed that the girl and the boy have been banned from moving together.

He said that girls should take precautions and stay confined to classrooms, this decision has been taken for the safety of women.

The Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) gave freedom and rights to women many hundreds years ago. It is distasteful to say but I have to say that men in Pakistan always think about carnal desire.

Thousands of women and men study in difference colleges and universities across Pakistan. They simply pay attention to their education and come out of universities as engineers and doctors. How many of them have committed sins.
