Oklahoma: Lower back pain is extremely painful as well as destroys normal life. Now an injection made of special cells has achieved extraordinary success in removing this condition.
Dr Douglas Bell, an expert in clinical radiology at the University of Oklahoma, said, “The process of affecting the back disc is called degeneration of disc and it is treated with some medicine and most physiotherapy, but it proves to be temporary and extremely inadequate.” ‘
This disease is called ‘DDD’ or degenerative disc disease, which is caused by the breakdown of the soft foam-like disk between the seals. Over time, it decreases by rubbing and the pain increases. To treat this, Dr. Douglas has made a special injection of the cells of the same disc, a vaccine of which can improve the quality of life of the patient by reducing pain for a long time.
Experts included a total of 46 people with severe and prolonged lower back pain in the study and they were evaluated for a total of 36 months with a single vaccine. The vaccine was based on ‘disc allograft supplement cells’ and almost all participants reported that their pain was greatly reduced and they were able to work. Almost all patients between the ages of 19 and 73 admitted that they were receiving physiotherapy, painkillers and anti-inflammatory drugs, and carticosteroid injections. The last and most painful treatment in its treatment is surgery in which the success ratio is very low.
60% of patients said that the severity of their disease was reduced by 50%, which is an important achievement. According to experts, it has taken them many years to make this injection and now it will be tested on more patients.
