How long do you want to live at most, 110 years or 120 years? However, scientists claim that future generations can live up to the age of 141.
According to a study by the University of Georgia, it is possible that men can live until the age of 141 and women can live up to the age of 130.
Scientists believe that human lifespan has been increasing in recent decades and this may be due to Covid-19.
Dr. David McCarthy, an academic at the University of Georgia, examined mortality rates among older people in 19 countries, and found that the increase in mortality rates by age varies between people born in different years.
Further research also showed that advances in medical science and the wide availability of nutritious food may make it possible for people to live longer.
Dr. David said that the death rate in those born between 1910 and 1950 can be abnormally reduced.
He added that for a 115-year-old person, the chances of surviving the next year are 50 percent.
Dr. David said that these figures are not final, it is possible that the survival age may increase and decrease.
"All predictions about the future can be wrong, so I can’t say it’s true," he said.
The world’s oldest woman was Jean-Louis Calment of France, who lived for 122 years and 164 days.
Born in 1875 and died at the age of 1997, interestingly, she used to eat sweets eagerly till the age of 119.
He even met the famous painter Vincent van Gogh in 1888 who created a masterpiece painting like ‘Starry Night’.
The study was published in the journal Plus One.
