Do not use Nintendo Switch and Steam Deck in hot weather reduce performance, trigger an automatic shutdown, or even result in user burns
AMD has given us a new look at its future processor technology plans, and the big news is code-named Dragon Range. According to AMD itself, these processors are intended for extreme-class gaming.
According to the company’s “roadmap,” Dragon Range will be released sometime in 2023 and will be based on the company’s forthcoming “Zen 4” architecture.
These processors will be a part of the Ryzen 7000 series, a platform that will use more advanced PCIe and memory technologies than those currently employed by AMD. Therefore, we are discussing PCIe 5.0 and DDR5.
Powerful graphics and processor solutions necessitate a large amount of space for cooling, and one can typically anticipate a relatively short battery life – at least when the computer is working hard.
Laptops with Dragon Range processors do not appear to deviate from this trend. In fact, AMD hints at an even higher power consumption than what we observe in current gaming-oriented models. With “55W +” we can rapidly arrive at processors that consume nearly as much power as the processors in a significant number of desktops.
Today, this number is typically around 45 watts for gaming laptops.
With Dragon Range, it is at least clear that AMD envisions gaming laptops equipped with processors that have more cores and faster memory than is currently available. It is unknown whether this indicates that these processors will be equipped with additional “3D V-cache” like the Ryzen 7 5800X3D.
Regardless, these are laptops you would prefer to have plugged into an electrical outlet.
7000 series desktop computers this year
The roadmap also confirms that the “Raphael”-codenamed 7000 series for desktops will be released later this year. These will be the first processors with Zen 4 architecture to hit the market.
Additionally, the new platform features DDR5, PCIe 5.0, and a brand-new AMD socket. Physically, the processors will connect to the motherboard via LGA, which means they will have contact points rather than pins.

Valve’s Steam Deck Is a Glitchy but Promising Portable Gaming PC
Some people say that modern smartphones have replacement of Nintendo Gameboy replacement. Gamers were not happy yet because there were no game controls for them.
Now a Samsung designer has come up with a brilliant idea to develop a control for gamers.
Samsung designers create Nintendo-style game controllers
Juan Lee, a South Korean designer, who is working as a product designer for Samsung for many years developed a game controller called “ICON”. The product is the result of his personal project. He developed a controller which exactly looks and functions like a Nintendo controller.
You can see in the picture that there is a holder for smartphone. There are two controllers. The controllers take on a number of different gamepads that can be freely selected and combined .
But that’s not all, the attachments of the ICON also work independently of the controllers. These can be applied directly to the smartphone’s touchscreen and used as a gamepad.
The idea is almost banal, but nevertheless ingenious .
The new Redmi K50 series has recently attracted a lot of attention. The devices are intriguing with a good value for money, which is confirmed by the current leaks. Today, the official premiere of the Redmi K50 Gaming Edition, a device intended for gaming enthusiasts, took place. It is the successor of the Redmi K40 GE, which took a significant position in the market last year. The first Xiaomi smartphone signed with the Mercedes logo will also appear there.
The device is equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Gen1 processor, 8 or 12 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB of internal memory. Everything will work on the basis of MIUI 13, which is based on Android 12. Efficient operation even under heavy load is ensured by an additional cooling system consisting of a double steam chamber. If it turns out to be insufficient, we can buy a case with an additional fan.
Redmi K50 GE received a large AMOLED screen with a diagonal of 6.67 inches, FullHd + resolution and a refresh rate of 120 Hz.
